About me... Well.. I was born and raised in Southern Italy.. While growing up I watched and listened to some of the greatest bands of all time such as Guns & Roses, Aerosmith, and a lot of other great hair bands of the 80's. When I was 16 years old, my father gave me a classic guitar and I did not even start to use it until 9 months later.. I was idiotic, thinking that being a guitar player would make me cooler than everyone else, but what I came to find out was they actually expected me to play something! And that was something I did not know how to do at the time..

Raised in So. California I grew up on old rock and old country-thanks to my family. You can hear a lot of those influences in my music. Although, now my influences have crossed many genres such as, rock, pop, reggae, country, punk, alternative, and everything in between! Rooted in music at a young age by a musically inclined and involved family, music has always been a calling to me. Like any teen, I used music to cope with the trials of youth. Now as an adult, not much has changed, as writing and performing my songs keep me modest and yet still provide the outlet that many artist search for. Growing up, I listened to my older brother write and perform, and graciously allowed my mother to teach me my first guitar chords. I was involved with one of America's first show choirs- The Young Americans at the age of 15. I learned quite a bit there, how to work as a team and much more. Soon I landed a spot as the front man in my first rock band-never looked back! From churches to seedy bars to Hollywood's most distinguished night clubs, I played. In loosing myself, I found myself, back to the basics- just me and a six string.
As a solo artist, I have come to appreciate this road sometimes long and lonely, but still there is always that light at the end of the tunnel.
In the past few years I became involved with a group called Lifestylez Productions- a ski and snowboarding travel co. that has allowed me to play for thousands of college students. Also lately, I have been involved with a great bunch of talented and successful artist called The Rockers in The Round! Artist such as Jeremy Popoff-LIT, Danny Walker-Handsome Devil, Steve Soto-Adolescents, Brian Coakley-Cadillac Tramps and a wide range of guest including American Idol's own Kelly Pickler. Among other shows I have recently played Dinky Music's- Dinky Acts of Kindness a show for the Make a Wish Foundation, The Pangea Music Festival-headliners-Strungout, the KROQ's Halos N Horns Fest featuring Korn, Shwayze, and Shiny Toy Guns and most recent the Maximum Exposure Showcase with headliner Sugarcult!.All in all, music to me, is LIFE! Thanks to my friends and family, I push on through till the next song is written(many of which are true stories inspired from our lives). I am thankful and always moving forward!

Whether it's songs about break-ups, make-outs, shake-ups or four letter words, Olio produces electrifying, positive music from their studio in Los Angeles, CA.  On stage Arif sings and breaks strings (sometimes his right hand gets heavy), DeHaven grooves on drums and croons (when the lights are low and the mood is right), and Matt plays bass so wickedly even his ex-girlfriend still gets jealous (he's also been known to throw out zingers in between songs trying out new material for his secret life in stand-up comedy).

Last Day Off
www.myspace.com/lastdayoff

Last Day Off, a Los Angeles-based band, began in 2007 when Wolf Bradley hit up his long-time friends , Andrew Macatrao on drums, to sow the seeds of what was to become Last Day Off. In mid-2009, they added guitar player Jonathan Barron and Thaddeus Sundin on bass to the band bringing another dimension to their sound. Their name is indicative of their take on life—the realization that on your Last Day Off anything is possible, so live life to its fullest. With a backlog of songs Wolf had been working on, the band quickly jumped into the garage and began working on the first incarnation of their sound. They compiled a whole slew of songs that grabbed the attention of producer Billy Graziadei of Biohazard and Suicide City fame. ¡°When I first got turned on to Last Day Off, I saw the raw talent brewing within the band and wanted to help harness and cultivate what they were only beginning to touch on.¡± Graziadei entered the rehearsal studio, and they all worked out different ideas within the songs. When the band was ready, they went to Underground Sound Studios and turned out an incredible debut EP entitled, ¡°Party of the Century¡±. Wolf¡¯s strong, smooth vocals are very expressive as he sings heartfelt and sometimes unexpectedly humorous lyrics to upbeat catchy melodies with a punk edge, driving beats, and deliciously rich guitars. Wolf explains, ¡°All the music I have been into has had an effect on me. I was exposed to everything from Sex Pistols to Pink Floyd.¡± This is reflected in songs like ¡°To Whom It May Concern,¡± a classic power ballad of first love in every sense of the word, and ¡°Mrs. Right¡¯s¡± pounding drum intro, intellectual bass line, with Wolf¡¯s guitar adding a hint of a whisper. There is just enough texture to pull listeners in and then throw them into life¡¯s rollercoaster ride from love to rejection. This young group has already received critical attention from publications like San Pedro Today Magazine (Leona Christensen): ¡°Last Day Off is a breath of fresh air in a stale environment¡¦..Undeniable chemistry, melodic, original, bright and beautiful.¡± Andrew describes Last Day Off in his way¡¦¡±We¡¯re pretty clean livin¡¯ dudes, no smoking and no drugs¡¦¡± as Thaddeus chimes in with ¡°but girls are a different story.¡±

XDAO
http://www.myspace.com/xdaomusic

XDao (Ex-Dao) is a new identity, a Daoist rock band that's half Chinese and half American, 1 guy and 3 rocking girls--probably the only group of its kind in the world. Striving for a sound that's both Eastern and Western, XDao's music combines philosophical and musical elements in a modern blend of powerful yet melodic rock and roll. Finally, a rock sound from China that's both unique in composition and appealing to Western audience.

Dao, or Tao, in Chinese, means the Way. Daoism, or Taoism, is China's only native religion/philosophy.
Why XDao? Religions/philosophies have believers/followers because they establish themselves as the ultimate truth, the righteous, the only way of life, the only way to salvation, Heaven or a better next life. Other religions or schools of thoughts are therefore misguidance or even dangerous heresies.

Yet the first line of Daoist bible—Dao De Jing, says: ¡°The truth that can be spoken can't be lasting/universal truth¡± It's like saying: ¡°You can read on, but the Way of life is beyond words.¡± ¡°What I¡¯m saying is not the truth.¡± ¡°I couldn't tell you what the ultimate truth is even if there was one.¡± ¡°Don't take my words for it. You'll find your own Way.¡±

The very first thing Daoism did 2 millennia ago is Xing itself out as Truth, Guidance or Wisdom. It believes in everybody reaching his OWN truth through his own experiences. By not establishing itself, Daoism's existence is in its self-negation.

¡°Identify with me if you will, but don't just follow what I say.¡± And that's the kind of anti-establishment in which XDao's music exists.

By embracing the X factor of the Dao, XDao is still saying things in their music, but does not know anything about anything, including music. By crossing out the Dao, XDao works hard to materialize where their streams of consciousness take the music, but is not the hottest, coolest, sickest or the baddest music out there.

XDao Knows No Dao!
(XDao's previous identity had played extensively in Asia and the U.S., including the famous Kodak Theater. )

Christopher Geno: Blazing forward with the impossible dream of establishing some sort of fan base with only a guitar, willpower, and a couple demo songs made in a friend's basement.

But how did all of this begin? Christopher picked up the guitar in 8th grade and has slowly and painfully been teaching himself since then, because let's be honest--steady guitar lessons are just plain expensive after a while. He had been writing before then, and singing before that, and none of it seemed like much until one day he got the idea to maybe combine all of those things into one.

These Arms Alone

Beautiful¡¦Vicious. From the streets of LA comes the hardest thing this side of pop, These Arms Alone. Inspired by the city itself, These Arms Alone fuse the raw emotion of the urban underground with the grace and sensuality of Portishead, Fiona Apple and Carina Round. Leah Page is a singer/songwriter hailing from Miami, Florida. She is a classically trained vocalist, heavily influenced by hip-hop and jazz. Dorian Levi is a well known guitarist in the underground hardcore and metal community in Los Angeles. In a classic case of east and west colliding, Leah's witty word play and haunting melodies mixed with Dorian's street wise song writing create a sound uniquely their own. Songs with unforgettable melodies, heartfelt lyrics and dynamic yet accessible musicianship make them the band to look out for in 2010.

Often referred to as "Mr. Blue", and "The modern day Ricky Nelson", Adam Drasin started his journey into music at age 12. He was the lead singer of the LA based band Longboard from 2003-2007. Adam always had a country base to his songwriting and wanted to record and perform more to a country crowd. Adam writes all his own material and bases all of his songs on personal life experiences. Adam's songwriting is storytelling in the best sense of the word. In his own words, "I have life experience and stories to tell, and if people can relate to these songs and make people feel an emotion... Well then i've done my job. These aren't just my songs, they're our songs. It's great when people can identify with the lyrics and make it to reflect on a time in their life." I guess one might say that music runs in my blood. I remember when I was five we used to visit some friends of my parents who had a piano and I would sit and write songs for hours upon hours. They used to have to peel me from the seat when it was time to leave. I got my first acoustic guitar when I was about fourteen, and from there on out I was hooked. I started writing my own song's and joined a band with some other musician's from my home town that same year. It was so natural to me and I knew that I would be a musician and a song writer as long as I lived. The great thing about being a song writer and a musician is that you never stop learning and growing. It open's our heart's and mind's and know's no border's or discrimination. I hope you enjoy my music! Peace, Kai Clark

Solo Acoustic Alternative Artist, Kellie Lee is no stereotypical artist. Always beating to her own drum, she left her Texas roots, in 2006, for some California air and a vision of becoming famous. Wasting no time to share her raw, emotional and honest sound, she began booking local coffee shops, bars and small venues in Orange County. With her amazing talent for not only writing her own music—but composing her own lyrics, Steel Records quickly signed Kellie Lee to their label soon after she landed in California. For the past year, Lee has been working on her first solo album, ¡°Stereo type,¡± which was released on January 2, 2010. Lee began playing music at the age of 16, when she got her first guitar for Christmas. ¡°When I asked for the guitar my intentions were to learn to play the songs that I liked listening to on the radio and I thought playing the guitar sounded like a good hobby. But something changed in me, it was like a light had been turned on inside my soul. I had found my calling¡¦ my purpose and it was to play music,¡± said Lee. Lee has played with artists such as: Cody Shaw and the Rhythm Boys, Austin-based artist Graham Wilkinson and James Mcmurtry, and WideAwake.
